The JAY PARTS Pitman is made of high-strength steel and the highlight is the double clamping, conical guidance of the tie rods, reinforcement by a guesset plate and the high quality of the material.

WHAT PROBLEM IS BEING FIXED?
Play in the steering is 80% a worn pitman. The one before 2013 without clamping and from 2014 with clamping. The best way to check is to have someone move the handlebars and use a flashlight to watch the splines closely under the power steering. 1 mm clearance between Pitman and toothing is 8 - 10 mm at the end of the handlebar!

On models from 2009 - 2012 adjustments may be necessary to put steering lock in the pitman, holes are provided.

The installation by your specialist workshop is advisable and is recommended.

RECOMMENDATION
For installation, we also recommend checking the tie rod ends first and also changing them during play. JP0011 is the matching article number of the tie rod ends.
